Cathy Tuckey

Owner and Senior Physiotherapist

Cathy has nearly two decades experience working as a Physiotherapist in Private Practice. She completed her degree in New Zealand in 2005 and relocated to Brisbane to begin her career. Over the next 9 years she developed her treatment skills, knowledge and an interest in Dry Needling. She commuted back to Auckland to complete a Post Graduate Certificate in Western Acupuncture in 2014, before moving over to Perth in 2015.

With her interest in Acupuncture and value for continuing education, Cathy decided to pursue a Research degree investigating the use of Dry Needling for scars. She had two journal articles published and was awarded a Masters of Science in 2023 from The University of Notre Dame Australia.

Her unique blend of treatment styles includes Dry Needling, Western Acupuncture and a wide range of hands-on techniques, this enables her to work with clients presenting with a wide range of acute and chronic conditions. 

Cathy treats all areas of the body and has a special interest in treating clients with Jaw pain, Chronic pain conditions and irritable scars.

 

Traci mitchell

Senior Physiotherapist

Originally from Sydney, Traci qualified as a Physiotherapist in 2008 and gained experience in Aged Care, Hospitals and Private Practice. Prior to joining Manning Physio in 2020, Traci completed a Graduate Certificate in Rehabilitation from James Cook University. Her passion for exercise rehabilitation was further developed by completing the GLA:D program of education and exercise rehabilitation for people with hip and knee osteoarthritis. Her holistic, evidence-based approach ensures personalised, effective rehabilitation for clients at every stage of life.

Traci utilises a variety of hands-on treatment strategies and techniques with her clients to compliment her active rehabiliation approach to injury and pain management. This includes Dry Needling, Shockwave, McKenzie techniques and many more.

 

Matthew barnes

Senior Physiotherapist

Matt joined Manning Physio after graduating from Curtin University in 2019. As a keen sportsman himself, Matt is passionate about working with clients with all types of sports injuries. Matt works closely with our local Football Club The Manning Rippers to help keep their players on the field, fit and fast. He provides pre-season assessments to identify areas of increased injury risk, management of injuries when they do occur, and training and advice to club members and coaches to help the players perform at their best.

Matt utilises a wide range of treatment modalities in his sessions including; Dry Needling, Shockwave therapy, Exercise Rehabilitation and more. 

Whilst sporting injuries  are an area of special interest for Matt, he treats clients with all types of injuries including Workplace injuries, Back and Neck pain, overuse injuries and vertigo.

Sarah Futter

Physiotherapist

We’re thrilled to have Sarah as part of our team at Manning Physio. With a passion for working with older adults, Sarah was inspired by her experience folk dancing with women in their 70s and 80s, amazed by their ability to stay active, fit, and involved in their communities. This experience drives her commitment to helping older adults live independently and with vitality.

 

While Sarah has a special interest in older adults wellness, she works with all age groups, tailoring her approach to each individual’s needs. She is skilled at providing a range of treatment techniques including soft tissue release, dry needling, exercise prescription, and lifestyle advice. Sarah is passionate about helping her clients recover from injuries and make lasting lifestyle changes.

 

Sarah runs several group exercise classes, including Young Seniors Exercise Class (YSEC) and Mat Pilate. Both focus on improving strength, flexibility, and overall health in a supportive environment.

 

Outside of work, Sarah enjoys staying active through hiking, cycling, and spending time outdoors. She’s passionate about empowering others to stay healthy and live well at any age.

Natasa Tedman

Pelvic Health Physiotherapist

Natasa has been working as a Physiotherapist for over 13 years. After completing her Physiotherapy degree in Montenegro, she emmigrated to Australia and completed a Bachelor Degree in Physiotherapy and Health Science at Curtin University. Continuing education has always been her passion and she went on to complete a one year intensive training program in clinical Pilates in 2016. Following this she pursued training in Continence and Pelvic Health Physiotherapy, comleting her Graduate Certificate in 2017 and Masters in 2019.

Natasa is an APA member and Titled Physiotherapist. She has gained a diverse range of Physiotherapy experience including Neurorehabilitation, Aged care, Musculoskeletal injuries, Pelvic Health and Paediatric Continence. Natasa uses her experience of different treatment styles and modalities to ensure her patients receive the best care she can provide.

Outside of work, Natasa likes to practice yoga, read, travel and watch F1. She has a
six-year-old daughter Mila, and her family lives in Montenegro, which she tries
to visit once a year.

Nurul Bingham

Remedial Massage Therapist

 

Nurul is a recently qualified Remedial Therapist who graduated from South Tafe Metropolitan, Murdoch. Before pursuing her career as a remedial therapist, she worked as a Registered Nurse in her home country of Malaysia. Her passion for helping people and seeing them thrive led her to obtain a Diploma of Remedial Massage. With her background as a medical practitioner, she possesses extensive knowledge in medical conditions and pathologies.

 

In her leisure time, Nurul engages in Muay Thai training, resistance training, and running. She also enjoys taking her children outdoors. She believes that the human body is designed to move.

 

Nurul incorporates various techniques, such as Deep Tissue, Trigger Point Therapy, and PNF Stretching, during remedial massage appointments to help relax muscle tension while maintaining an enjoyable experience. She adapts her techniques to suit individual preferences for comfort and pressure.
